Electric Rotary Scissors - #1 time saver!

A pair of traditional tailoring shears are of course perfect for cutting a layer of fabric. There is no need to describe how flexible they are in cutting the trickiest shapes, how confident you feel holding them in your hand. Personally I prefer to have this level of confidence while cutting fabrics, especially such delicate fabrics as chiffon. So, I use them as much as I can.

But there are cases where shears are not always the best choice. The problems come with greater amount of work — larger set of production patterns, which have to include sizing. Sometimes you need to cut a few layers of fabric at once to save time and, in case of mass-production, to make details of the same pattern ideally identical.

In all those tricky conditions the electric rotary scissors make magic! They prevent fabric from slipping and provide accurate sharp cut. They work well for thin and delicate materials as well as leather or thick linen. It is possible to cut even 10 layers of fabric at once, which is not achievable for a regular pair of scissors. Also they do not require a cutting table with a specially protected surface, because there is a metal platform on the bottom side of the scissors which meets the surface of the table and protects it from damaging. The only thing which should be kept in mind while use is to keep fingers away from moving parts. They move very fast. So the fast is the result!
